    Yes, data is backed up nightly and written to multiple disks instantly. We can perform full backup recovery in the event of a system-wide emergency.
  • Does your site experience down-time?

    Email Ideas has been delivering "Email Signatures" for years now, and while we have an excellent track record of maintaining constant uptime, maintenance and outages do occur from time to time.

    In cases where we need to perform maintenance to our servers or software, we try to do so during the non-peak hours of 12:00 AM - 4:00 AM EST. In emergency situations, maintenance can occur any hour of the day.
  • What is SSL and will it keep my communications absolutely secure?

    Every Email Ideas account features SSL security for the commerce and membership sections. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer", a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. The protocol allows members to securely communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or communications forgery. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions. In Email Ideas's case, SSL keeps your communications absolutely secure (Email Ideas normal password protection keeps your information private, but SSL keeps it private and secure.

    To install your Email Signature, login to our User Center and click on the button "Install". Then choose your email client and follow the instructions.

    You may need to tell your antivirus or security suite (Norton, McAfee, Windows Firewall, etc.) to allow our software to download and run on your computer.

  • How do I install my Email Signature?

  • What is a CVV Code?

    The CVV Number ("Card Verification Value") on a credit card or debit card is a 3 digit code on VISA, MasterCard and Discover branded credit and debit cards, and a 4 digit code on American Express credit and debit cards.

    Yes, as long as the billing information for your Email Signature remains the same. You can log in to your User Center and choose a new template for no additional fee.
  • How do I update the information on my Email Signature?

    Go to our User Center and log in using your email address and password. Click on the button "Edit".

  • How do I enable HTML in Gmail so I can append my Email Ideas Email Signature?

    Enable HTML for Gmail
    1. Click on "Compose Mail".
    2. Find the text "Rich Formatting", and click it.
    3. If you see "Plain Text" instead of "Rich Formatting", do NOT click it.
    4. All future emails will compose in Rich Formatting (HTML) and include your Email Signature.
    Consult the image below - all formatting areas are circled in red.

  • One of my clients can't see the Email Signature. They are using Lotus Notes as an email client. Does this matter?

    Lotus Notes, DOS, and several older email programs may not be able to view your Email Signature. This has to do with how these programs deal with HTML signatures. However, the majority of people who use email work with programs that will be able to view your Email Signature.
  • My Email Signature doesn't appear in my emails, or appears written out as HTML code?

    You may need to enable "Rich Text" or "HTML" in your email program. Click here to select your email program and learn how to enable HTML emails.

    Additionally, check in your Settings/Tools/Options menu and make sure to UN-CHECK any option resembling "send images as attachments".
  • Do you provide email support?

    Yes, we provide unlimited email support for our customers. We do our best to respond to every email within a few hours of receiving it.
  • Do you provide phone support?

    Yes, we provide unlimited phone support for our customers. Visit the "Contact Us" page on our website for our telephone number.
  • E-Paster Start-up and Hot-key Options

    Startup and Hotkey Options

    To set your Startup and Hotkey Options, right-click the ePaster and select "Options" from the menu.




    The Options window will appear. 



    If you do not want the ePaster to start when Windows starts, uncheck the "Start ePaster" option.

    Email Signatures can also be inserted using a Hotkey combination. A hotkey is the Ctrl key, plus some other key, pressed at the same time. To change what the Hotkey combo is, click the dropdown, and pick a new key.
